Electronic Arts have today announced that FIFA 17 will launch on September 29, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC via Origin.

The latest entry in the publisher’s football simulator is fully powered by the Frostbite engine, which promises to deliver “authentic, true-to-life action” as well as “introduce fans to characters full of depth and emotion”. James Rodriguez of Real Madrid C.F., Anthony Martial of Manchester United, Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC, and Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund are all featured football ambassadors — working with EA Sports to “bring to life the gameplay innovation” that will be unveiled via livestream during the publisher’s PLAY Event on June 12.

The ambassadors also appear in the FIFA 17 pre-order offer as loan players in FIFA 17 Ultimate Team, and fans who pre-order FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition can get up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, Team of the Week loan players, along with other bonuses. FIFA 17 will offer an early access trial via EA Access on Origin, with timing and availability yet to be confirmed. You’ll be able to see the first gameplay of FIFA 17 on June 12 at 9PM BST via this link.

FIFA 17 launches September 27 in North America and September 29 in the rest of the world, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC via Origin.
