by on October 21, 2016

Comic fans are already beginning to prick their ears up at the mention of Comic Con 2017 in Vegas, and after this year’s incredible line up of special guests, costumes, exclusives and panels, it’s no surprise to see how the excitement is building. The Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con will be returning to Vegas on June 23rd to 25th, and is going to be bigger than never before with some of the best creators in the world certain to be there. While the calendar isn’t quite ready yet, we’re sure that there’s going to be a huge number of announcements coming out for various films and games that we just can’t wait for.

What To Expect

While Vegas isn’t the biggest Comic Con in the US, with San Diego often being the most mentioned, that doesn’t mean that Vegas isn’t any good. With the bright lights and towering casinos providing the perfect backdrop, you are certain to be transported amidst a flood of trailers, posters, panels and exclusive toys to enjoy. This is the one convention where you can see superheroes, zombies and spaceships all celebrated in one place, bringing many a fan together. In the heart of Vegas, you should try and take in both the Comic Con and the authentic Vegas experience at the casinos, and you may even end up being one of the 7000 breakfasts that Caesar’s Palace serves each day. One thing you can expect from Comic Con is plenty of costumes and an extremely exciting atmosphere.

Tips For Newbies

If you’re heading to Comic Con Vegas for the first time next year then there are a few tips that you are going to need to consider. Make sure that you wear comfortable footwear especially and if you’re wearing a costume, make sure that it’s not too uncomfortable too. You’re going to be standing in lines and walking around for hours upon hours for the entirety of the event so it is important that you are comfortable in order to make your experience more enjoyable. In addition to this, the food is pretty expensive at all comic cons, so you may want to consider bringing your own food, or at least filling your wallet to pay for the inflated prices of junk food.

What Not To Do

One of the worst things that you can do at a Comic Con is to film a trailer or a clip that you’re not supposed to and then share it on the internet. The film Suicide Squad’s first trailer was forced to be released after someone filmed and leaked the trailer that was being shown exclusively to Comic Con. There are plenty of guards around when exclusive trailers are shown to an audience at Comic Con and it is highly likely that you will be removed if you end up trying to film this and post it online. Another thing that you shouldn’t do is to take selfies and touch others’ costumes without their permission. As long as you follow these two simple rules, you should have a great time.
