by on November 18, 2016

Nintendo Switch will seemingly have a version of Pokémon Sun and Moon launching on it next year according to a Eurogamer report.

According to Eurogamer, the Switch version is in development already and has the codename Pokémon Stars. This will mark the first mainline game to hit a Nintendo home console. Eurogamer sources also confirm that Pokémon Bank support will be present and you can trade between Sun and Moon on 3DS and Stars on Switch.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are set to release in Europe on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on November 23. Read our review of it here.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
