The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will take up 40% of the Switch’s internal storage

It has been revealed that downloading a digital copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will fill up 40% of the Switch’s 32GB internal memory.

On Nintendo Switch, Breath of the Wild have have a 13.4GB install size and while this is a significant chunk of the provided 32GB memory, it was also revealed by Nintendo that this can be expended with a MicroSDXC card up to 256 GB. Some of the installed 32GB will also be reserved for system functions so it remains to be seen how much of that will actually be usable by players.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released along with the Switch on March 3.
