Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey announced for Nintendo 3DS

Atlus’ 3DS project under the 25th Anniversary Projects for Shin Megami Tensei is a 3DS remake of Strange Journey.

Having recently announced a 3DS remake of Radiant Historia as Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Atlus wasted no time in announcing one more remake. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for DS is being remade for Nintendo 3DS as Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey. It is set to release in Fall 2017 in Japan. More details about it will be revealed in the new edition of Famitsu but for now the following information is available:

A must-see for every Shin Megami Tensei fan! It’s that popular title with new elements added and various elements brushed up for 3DS.
Enjoy a dramatic story with new from-the-chest-up illustrations and full voice overs.
About 350 demons will appear. A “DEEPer” demon experience.
A new character named Alex will appear, as well as a new ending route.
