Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 are the top selling console games in NA, more details from Activision

Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 are the top two selling console games in North America basedo n revenue. WWII racked in $1 billion in global sales. Call of Duty: WWII is the biggest console digital launch in Activision publishing history.
The most interesting thing is Destiny 2 was the biggest PC launch in Activision publishing history. Many thought Destiny 2 would bomb on PC because it was not on Steam. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is also the #1 remastered collection on PS4 in the history of the console.
Call of Duty is now the number 1 top selling console video game franchise in NA for the ninth consecutive year. Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision, commented:

Call of Duty: WWII is the best selling COD game on current generation consoles which is a remarkable feat given there are 5 other COD releases prior to this. This also brings COD to the best selling console franchise worldwide for 8 of the last 9 years.
In the UK, WWII is the UK Christmas No. 1 game for 2017 as of Chart Track. This makes it the fourth year a COD game has held this title.
Call of Duty: WWII is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Destiny 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available on PS4.
