Nintendo will introduce a new Switch model in the second half of 2019.

WSJ Japan just reported that Nintendo will introduce a new model for the Switch in the second half of 2019. More details aren’t available right now. I’ll update this story with information when it is available. WSJ also writes that Nintendo is debating on what to include in the upgraded Switch taking cost and more into consideration. This information is from people with knowledge of said Switch discussions. On option is improving the display since it uses a low end LCD one as of now. An OLED one would be great but the updated Switch is likely not going to use the new OLED panels Apple uses.
