Although Dead Space 2 is set for release on January 28th 2011, EA revealed the boxart for the title earlier this week. Although the actual image was revealed on the Official Facebook Fan page a while ago, this is the first image of the full PlayStation 3 cover.

The sequel sees the return of engineer Isaac Clarke as he awakens from a coma in “The Sprawl” a massive space city as the lone survivor of an alien infestation, to take on the Necromorphs all over again.

Unnamed sources in and around Rockstar games have begun to spread a rumour that the developers are currently undertaking extensive research of locations in Hollywood. Whether this indicates that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be set in a Los Angeles-inspired city, or whether it is related to another game, such as L.A. Noire, that remains to be seen.

However, in a blog post, one of these sources claimed that details were likely to be announced soon at a Max Payne 3 event, and it was indeed directly concerning the location of the next game in the Grand Theft Auto series.

After a five year break the officially licensed FIA World Rally Championship game has returned. The new game is being developed by Milestone who were responsible for Moto GP ’08 and being published by Black Bean Games. The title will be sporting 78 different rally stages and over 550km of varied road conditions from the 13 countries that host a round of the WRC which is probably like porn to your average petrol-head/avid WRC viewer. The latest additions to the series include the new “Road to the WRC” career mode that will allow you to live out your fantasies as a WRC driver over the course of a full career.

World Rally Championship is slated for a 8th October 2010 release and will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Bioware will today officially announce Dragon Age 2. Yesterday @Biofeed and @DragonAge teased us with this tweet “2morrow will be a great day for BioWare fans. Just sayin’.” It would appear that a Dragon Age 2 announcement is more than likely with EA releasing the press release below, the release reveals  information on other titles too.

“Currently announced projects at BioWare include the development of ongoing downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, one of the highest rated video games of all time, Dragon Age 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2009′s “RPG of the Year” Dragon Age: Origins, and the story-driven massively multiplayer online game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.”

Perhaps Bioware are biggiing up the announcement a little too much, after all we have known that Dragon Age 2 has been on the cards for some time, BioWare even gave away a possible release date of February 1, 2011 with a none-too-subtle teaser included in the retail release of the Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening expansion. What can I say?

If they announce anything other than Dragon Age 2 we will shocked. Expect lots of lovely new info on everything Dragon Age 2 later today.

EA Makes Dragon Age 2 Official, BioWare Teases Reveal Tomorrow[Kotaku]

An all new Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood trailer is the latest bit of media to emerge from LA’s E3. The trailer is a typical Assassin’s Creed pre-rendered scene showing an Assassin (this time Ezio) make his way through a crowd leaving a litter of bodies in his wake. The trailer takes place in 1503 Rome and shows off some of the support Ezio can expect to accompany him in the final game.

The end of the trailer reveals a November 16 release date.
