So the guild isn't actually in existence yet, we are mearley gathering the troops, letting people know about the guild.

Its important to note, no one is in or out at this point, any one that is interested in founding the god is a geek guild are sent here ,where at this moment in time we are debating the details such as realm, faction blah blah.

What we do know is that we will let most people join with a social rank, the social environment of the guild is important, we want as many people as we can get as long as they have a positive vibe.

As far as raiding goes there will be a raider rank, raiders will always have priority to join the 2-3 "Main raids" each week. We will hold some social raids with alts and social players on other nights.

Hey Senoob,

This guild of your seems to be creating some mutterings within the ex-Aeon community (my msn group for example) and therefore a number of people are asking and maybe even waiting for you/someone on your behalf to actually ask them. Therefore I thought I would take it upon myself to actually ask something so that when someone else asks i may have a 2nd answer to "I dont know".

The realm and faction thing would be nice to know as I feel there are a number of people that are interested in this guild but would maybe only be interested if it was say "horde" for example.

As far as I have heard from some people I know the following people have been asked, Horntaill, Fab, Manure, Twisted, Shawna, Yonna.

Is there going to be an application process? I.e where do we have to apply if we want in?

Is the guild going to limit the amount of alts we have? We would be open to changing classes presumably?

Wurm.

Everything is open, Horde will more than likely be the faction. Recruitment is not officially up but people can register their interest on these forums.

Alts are allowed and mains can be whatever you want.

A few of you prob know that I have not been playing WoW for a couple months now and was unsure about whether to return to Cata. However! With this idea of creating a guild and having the 'quality' ex members that we had while Aeon as well as new people with great ability is something that sounds majorly appealing and something I would like to be part of, especially with the respect I have for alot of you guys and Seno's ability to run things.

Do you have any idea on what server, cos I know a specific few that are very good for progress and recruiting reasons, so if you need a hand or anything just shout.

Also any idea when you wanna get it moving?

To be totally honest, with the amount of people we have interested from Aeon, we shouldn't really need to recruit any large amount wherever we decide to set up shop.

And also, while I do like the occasional 25man, the fact that 10/25mans share loot tables, I would find it much more fun just to do the 10s. Its more personal, and everyone has to pull their own weight. I think the general slack in every 25man in Aeon sorta pushes my point abit more.

Edit: We also have a fair number of alts between us to fill in the spare time.

Edit2: A time would be nice, any time before Cata release preferable, though getting onto a server before 3.9 would be better.

I totally agree with you on the 10 man thing. Dont forget that 10 mans are more laid back. What you have to bare in mind filling a 10 man raid leaves a lot of people out of the raid.

That why I said about the alts :D

Depending on the server I can bring at least my warr over to tank some.

I plan on only moving one char to begin with and playing that. First off money reasons and second I have leveling, its gnna be bad enough attempting the server first so leveling another after wont be fun.

Right, im going to actually start this thing properly, getting fucked off with the guild im currently in and am losing heart in the game at a rapid rate of knots as a result. So, im going to spend a bit of time moving my chars and getting the guild started.

2 choices of realms as I see it,

-Darkspear
-Bronzebeard

Both are normal realms with a mid-high population (Darkspear slightly higher in population at peak times) with a near 50:50 faction ratio. Both seem to be pretty social and stable, decent economy and most inportantly, are not Eonar!!!

Darkspear is on the Cruelty server and Bronzebeard, Reckoning. If either one of those two battlegroups are notorious for extended maintenance, repairs or are just laggy/buggy, please say so and it'll get discounted. Ofc, if its got a good rep in your eyes please say so!

Anyhow, I will prob set the guild up on our realm of choice in about a week (depending on response here) so any feedback/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Yeah mate, get ya ass over to doomhammer horde. My mage, Raigin, is there as is Manure. The guild is set up, just waiting on the arrival of others so there really isnt a rush atm.

How have you been anyway?

Been good, got busy with uni etc so took a long break from WoW, and it wasn't that much fun anymore in my new guild. Got pretty good grades on uni so :P But right before I went on vacation i thought lets buy a new month of wow but well yes i was going away :P And after i got back i had a nice email that i won a contest for cata betakey so it was time to get playing again. Only to find out my chars where naked but that has been fixed already! I got a placeholder char on that realm for now named Croan as that hopefully will be my new name :P

How have you been?

Pretty good tbh, my wife gave birth back in may to a beautiful baby girl. We named her Mia-Louise, she is fecking brilliant, i just cannot say how amazed and proud i am!

Other than that, things are pretty much same old, working hard, living hard!
