Activision-Blizzard to sell gold!
World of Warcraft gold but not as you know it
Yup, you heard me right, Activision-Blizzard will be selling World of Warcraft gold but not the in-game kind. DC unlimited will be making souvenir WoW coins for both the Horde and the Alliance. The coins include 24 karat plated gold, silver and copper obviously to replicate the in game currency.
It is interesting to see that there is a Horde and Alliance set with each faction having their own unique art on the coins, it never really crossed my mind that either faction would have their own personal currency but it looks pretty cool.
What next then for WoW merchandise? Maybe more coins such as the ones you can fish up in-game from the Dalaran fountain, watch this space!
