Remaining Superstars Revealed For WWE All Stars Roster – UPDATE

by on February 28, 2011

Ladies and Gentlemen, making their way down to the ring at this time…

Following our previous news report that half the line-up was set in stone, THQ have come out and revealed the full roster list of wrestling Superstars that will be available in their new caricature, arcade-style WWE All-Stars video game, which is currently scheduled to be released on March 29 in North America and April 1st in Europe. New Superstars who hadn’t been previously announced include “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels and “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka. Also announced are a whole raft of downloadable wrestlers, who presumably will be available sometime after the game is released. These include classic stars like The Big Boss Man and rising stars like Cody Rhodes.

The WWE Legends included are:

Andre the Giant, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Hulk Hogan, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, “Mr Perfect” Curt Hennig, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock and The Ultimate Warrior.

Current WWE Superstars in the game are:

The Big Show, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Edge, Jack Swagger, John Cena, John Morrison, Kane, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus, The Miz, The Undertaker and Triple H.

Downloadable Superstars will be:

Animal, Big Boss Man, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, Dusty Rhodes, Hawk, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mark Henry, Michael “P.S.” Hayes, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, R-Truth and Ted DiBiase Junior.

The Fink and Paul Bearer will also be in the game in non-playable roles, with WWE Hall of Fame members Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler handled the play-by-play and colour commentary included in the title. The game is set to feature over-the-top action and exaggerated moves – to emphasise the extreme excitement of the WWE. Gameplay will be simpler and more arcade-like than the Smackdown Vs. Raw series of games, and there will be a different set of game modes than THQ wrestling game players are used to. Is your favourite Legend in the game? Did the new rookie you have a soft spot for make the cut?

WWE All Stars will be released on March 29th in North America and April 1st across Europe. It will be available for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PSP.
