New Modern Warfare 3 Information & Screens

by on May 13, 2011

Modern Warfare 3 news has been coming thick and fast over the past couple of days and we are in no doubt that Activation has the PR mill running at full speed. Gaming site Kotaku has unveiled that Modern Warefare 3’s single player campaign will come packing 15 levels set in in a multitude of places across the world, ranging from Manhattan to the catacombs of Paris.

According to Kotaku, the Multiplayer also seems to be in fine shape with 20 maps being designed at this time — although whether all the maps will be included in the final release is another matter entirely. The lastest iteration of Call of Duty will also be looking to improve upon the Spec Ops mode that was so popular in its younger brother. As well as the usual mission based Spec Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will also feature survival Special Ops modes.  The survival maps will have players fighting until they’re overcome by increasingly difficult waves of enemies similar to the horde mode found in Gears of War.
