by on May 25, 2011

Twisted Pixel and Microsoft Game Studios have announced plans for a public early access testing period for the multiplayer elements of their upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade title, Ms. Splosion Man, prior to its summer release date.  The sequel to the popular and award-winning 2009 Summer of Arcade hit Splosion Man, the game is highly anticipated – especially by the Godisageek tea, who were big fans of the original. Players began registration to try and sang one of 10,000 available slots on May 24th – so if you are still interested, you better get your skates on!

Players taking part in the public early access test will get the chance to preview the exhilarating multiplayer action. Twisted Pixel is excited to be one of the first developers to offer an early access program such as this, as Microsoft Game Studios are notoriously secretive. After the registration launched on May 24th, the early access period is due to begin on June 6th. The 10,000 lucky entrants will get three weeks of play time until the end of the test on June 26th. And throughout the early access period, there will be two different multiplayer levels will be available each week, in addition to additional Trial content.

Josh Bear, the Director of the title went on to say that, “To make the best multiplayer game possible, we are enlisting the help of our friends and fans to beat the ever living crap out of our game and tell us what is wrong with it.” Those who would like to take part should head to connect.microsoft.com/site1241 to enter. So fans of ‘sploding should hurry on over and enlist for the cause!
