Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops Shown on Jimmy Fallon

by on June 14, 2011

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was recently the star guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a US talk show shown on NBC in the states. Activision’s Eric Hirshberg was joined on the show by Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward and Glen Schofield of Sledgehammer Games to show some Spec Ops live on the show, and we have the video for you non US people who didn’t stay up to watch it.

First, viewers got to see some gameplay in the New York dock area where the mission is to push back the invading Russians. Soon after, Jimmy Fallon shows off his (lack of) skills as they play through the “Wave” mode in Spec Ops. Simon Pegg is even around for company.

While Fallon isn’t exactly a master of Call of Duty, fans will get to see how the enemy soldiers get back to their feet if the player doesn’t hit them with that fatal bullet, so it is well worth sticking around to watch.

Told you Fallon wasn’t a master of Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to release November 8, 2011, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
