The team at GodisaGeek.com are massive fans of both Worms and crazy golf, and to hear that these two frankly epic titans of fun are coming together as a new game, have us rubbing our drivers and holy hand grenades in anticipation, and now to excite us and the many fans awaiting this title will be glad to know that a new trailer has been released. Entitled the “Britannia” course, players will be able to test their golfing skills with these lovable (if not sadistic) worms along the rolling hills and playful sheep. But remember, this is crazy golf so expect loads of obstacles, traps and local wildlife to get in your way!

Britsoft bastions and sand-wedge superstars Team 17 present their newest trailer for Worms Crazy Golf. Taking the world of 2D puzzle-strategy to a whole new realm, Worms Crazy Golf is a mental mixture of classic 2D Worms and hilarious eighteen-hole high jinks. Worms Crazy Golf is audacious annelids in bonkers bunkers, set for release later this year for PlayStation 3 from PlayStation Network, for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and also for PC from Steam.

The Britannia Course trailer reveals rolling hills and playful sheep. Although, all is not quite as idyllic as it seems. Deep in the heart of the “Sceptred Isle” sits a lush green golf course laden with fiendish trickery such as ball launching cannons, conveying castles, mischievous moles, roving cable cars and angry golf-loathing old ladies that have a tendency to redistribute your ball.

Worms Crazy Golf won’t be released until later on this year but don’t worry, as GodisaGeek.com will keep you posted on any developments. But in the meantime, here is the trailer for your enjoyment!

Worms Crazy Golf will be released later in the year on PlayStation 3, iOS and on PC via Steam.
