Final Fantasy XIII-2 Battle in Valhalla Trailer, Amazon Pre-order Bonus Details
Square Enix has today released a new cinematic trailer for the hugely anticipated Final Fantasy XIII-2, entitled ‘Battle in Valhalla’. Battling in the trailer are Lightning and new character Caius. In the two minute thirty second trailer, they take on a range of enemies on both sides before tantalisingly squaring up towards the end. It’s normal for Square Enix to shy away from actual gameplay trailers, but it has to be said, the CG stuff still ticks the boxes in terms of ramping up excitement for the game.
It feels like a long time ago that Final Fantasy XIII-2 was first announced, and we got the first trailer, but gamers only have a couple of months to wait for its UK release on February 3. Get the trailer below.
Also, Square Enix released details of Amazon’s pre-order exclusive for the game, which will see Noel get a bonus weapon, the Muramasa, which Square Enix describes as “a weapon of fey power, feared as the blade that will strike down time’s master.” Only Noel will be able to use this weapon, which also increases chain bonuses in game.
