Actual Images of the Future, Thanks Marvel & Activision

Actual Images of the Future, Thanks Marvel & ActivisionSome pieces of fiction have tried to depict what they believe is the future. Whether it be hover cars, martian contact or a trophy for Arsene Wenger. Well, to all budding Nostradmus’, have a gander at this. Activision has collaborated with Marvel to celebrate the recent launch of Spider Man: The Edge of Time by showing off designs of what some of Europe’s biggest cities may look like in 88 years.

The game – Spider Man: The Edge of Time – has the player travelling between the two timelines of Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 as they try to save the world after Peter Parker’s death. Artists at Marvel have taken inspiration from the games’ setting and have created these brightly coloured and ultimately, realistic images that I personally think show where we’re headed.

Marty McFly got it wrong, I don’t think Jaws 19 will release in 2015 and Skynet was meant to be online by 1997…but this…this is truth.
