Tekken 3D: Prime Edition Gets European Release DateNintendo and Namco Bandai have revealed that Tekken 3D: Prime Edition will be coming to the 3DS on 17th February 2012 all across Europe. This will mark only the second ever outing for the fighting series on any Nintendo platform. The game is said to utilise the system’s 3D capabilities well, so well in fact that, apparently it doesn’t lose its 60 fps crispness with the 3D turned up to the max.

The King of Iron Fist Tournament will feature over 40 characters with a host of new stages to battle on and some older, redesigned ones too with Wi-Fi functionality also an option.

And if you get bored of all that gaming malarkey, watch a film why don’t ya!? Tekken Blood Vengeance will be included on the 3DS cartridge. It takes “the history and legacy of the TEKKEN universe into a full-length CG movie”. Nintendo have said, in so many words, that they will also be looking after all the advertising and what-not for the game too with Namco Bandai remaining as the publisher. They’re looking to push this one hard.
