Activision Announce New Details for Men in Black: Alien CrisisTo coincide with the 25 May 2012 release of Men in Black 3 in theaters, Activision announced that the videogame Men in Black: Alien Crisis will see a retail release on 25th May as well.

The game will see release on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii. To enhance the immersion of the gameplay, all versions are going to be compatible with their respective system’s Top Shot Elite peripheral. On top of this, the PlayStation 3 version will be compatible with the PlayStation Move Sharpshooter and the Wii version will allow the use of the Wii Zapper.

Men in Black: Alien Crisis sees players taking on the role of Peter Delacoeur, an MiB trainee assigned to uncover an alien plot to destroy the Earth. Players must take on alien intelligence agents and stop the alien attacks. The game allows players to team up with a partner to shoot and dodge their way through action packed levels to prevent this catastrophe. Additionally, a four player competitive “hot seat” mode will be available to play.

In order to achieve an authentic and true-to-film MiB world, Activision teamed up with Starlight Runner Entertainment, Inc. to write the story and script for the game. Starlight Runner is the studio chosen by Sony Pictures to work on both the videogame and the upcoming film to create a cohesive experience between the movie and the videogame.
