Rayman Top of The Bill on Nintendo eShop This Week

Nintendo Logo BannerIt’s the start of another week and that means it’s time to see what digital download tomfoolery Nintendo has for us this week.

First up this week is the arrival of Rayman on the Nintendo eShop. This coming a week after the arrival of the Rayman Origins Demo on 3DS, and a week before E3 where we can expect to learn more about the upcoming Rayman legends for Wii U. Enough about that stuff though, this week’s release is a re-release of the original Rayman game, the one that started all the no limbed madness back in 1995. There is a bit of confusion about this one, since its priced at £4.50, that’s a couple of quid cheaper than the DSiWare version of the game (also available via the 3DS eShop), details are a little vague but we believe this new release to be the gameboy colour version of Rayman, so it might be worth the extra few pennies to get the slightly prettier DSiWare version. A confusing release, then, but at least you have options!

Next up is the release of Mega Man X2 on the Wii Virtual Console for 800 Wii Points. Another Mega Man game to add to the Wii’s already bulging arsenal of titles, Mega Man X2 brings new upgrades, weapons, vehicles and more. Mega Man X2 was one of the more popular Mega Man titles back in the day, so this might well be worth a look.

Last up this week is Sweet Memories Blackjack, available at the 3DS eShop for £3.60. The premise here is a girl you used to know moves back to your city, problem is you’ve lost all memory of your relationship with her. How can we get those memories back? By playing Blackjack of course! The more time you spend playing Blackjack, the more you remember. “Find out that she is the perfect match for you with every turn of the cards.”

Unbelievable.

All of the above titles are available from Thursday at a Nintendo eShop near you.
