Exclusive DmC: Devil May Cry "Son of Sparda" Special Edition Leaked?A single image posted online has fuelled speculation that DmC will be getting a special edition release exclusive to Europe.

US gaming website Polygon have revealed that Capcom’s upcoming Devil May Cry reboot may be released in Europe in a special Son of Sparda flavour, as this classic unboxing image posted on All Games Beta shows. The image depicts a collector’s item in the form of Dante’s necklace and a Samurai DLC pack that alters Dante’s weapons and provides a unique character perk.

The inclusion of the Samurai Pack hints that the Son of Sparda edition may be a Gamestop exclusive, though it’s more likely that the special edition will be universal while the DLC packs contained within will be vendor-specific.

DmC: Devil May Cry is set to release on January 15, 2013 for Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
