Kinect Equals Lifetime Sales of Original Xbox
The latest sales figures for Microsoft’s Kinect peripheral reveal that it has sold as many units as the original Xbox and two million more than Nintendo’s Gamecube.
Our friends over at Eurogamer made the comparison after a Microsoft statement announced that Kinect had sold 24 million units.
Microsoft also revealed that 76 million Xbox 360 consoles have now been shifted worldwide, meaning one in three Xbox users owns a Kinect.
For comparisons sake, the latest figures put the PlayStation 3’s all-time sales at 70.2 million.
