Xbox Lives Major Nelson is “Listening” to Xbox One DRM Feedback

by on May 30, 2013

The controversy surrounding Microsoft’s plans for next-gen DRM management continues at pace, with Xbox Lives Major Nelson responding to comments about the subject on one of his blog posts. Thanks to Vr-Zone for the story.

“We are fully aware of what is going on,” Major Nelson writes in a comment on his blog. “I am working on a few things to address it. I can’t say much more right now. But we ARE listening.”

We can obviously expect to hear more on the subject at E3, which is just a couple of weeks away now. With the backlash surrounding the area of used games, you’d like to think Microsoft would be willing to change course, if even just a little. Although you’ve got to admit it’s unlikely, as I can’t help thinking EA abandoning online passes and Microsoft charging a fee for used games is a coincidence. Personally, I can’t wait to get back to talking about the games and putting this whole mess behind us.
