XCOM: Enemy Unknown Comes to iOS This Thursday

by on June 17, 2013

The fantastic XCOM: Enemy Unknown is making its way to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch on June 20 and is a bit more expensive than your average app. It will cost £13.99/€17.99/$19.99 – but, don’t freak out.

Whilst your initial reaction may be to write a strongly worded email to 2K, this is basically a direct port of the game that came to PC, 360 and PS3 last year. Multiplayer won’t be available once the game is released on Apple’s App Store, however it will be released via a free update in the near future.

iOS users will also be able to avail of the game’s cloud saving functionality and pick up their campaign on any of their fruit based devices.

As our phones and tablets are full of applications that normally cost under a pound, does that price deter you from purchasing? Please, let us know in the comments section, below.
