Three New Additions to Nintendo’s eShop Incoming

by on July 15, 2013

This Thursday will see the release of three new titles for the 3DS, available via Nintendo’s eShop. Re-issues of the classic Shantae and Spelunker, will join Level 5’s Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, an eShop exclusive.

Shantae originally debuted on the Gameboy Colour in 2002, and although well-received, was largely overlooked due to its release coming late in the consoles life-cycle. The platformer will retail for €4.99/£4.49.

From way back in 1985, the NES version of Spelunker brings vintage adventuring, in the vein of Pitfall, to the 3DS. Already available on the Wii and Wii U, the virtual console classic will cost €3.99/£3.59.

Rounding out the trio of new arrivals is Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale. Coming in at €7.99/£7.19, the game sees players take on the role of Sohta in the idyllic town of Fuji no Hana where every Friday a new monster comes alive, inspired by the old B-movies of 70’s Japan
