Sega Files Trademark for Go Dance
It looks like Sega is gearing up to enter the cut-throat world of dancing games as we’ve learned (via Gamespot) that the publisher has filed a trademark for something called “Go Dance”.
On June 28, they applied for the trademark with the United States Patent & Trademark Office and all manner of potential video game related releases are mentioned, including smartphone applications.
Just Dance and Dance Central are obviously the kings of this genre and Sega would have a hard battle on their hands to pry away fans of the aforementioned series’.
But, if they can promise me that Robotnik appears as some form of instructor, I’ll be there with obligatory spandex on.
