Xbox One To Be Playable In All Its Glory At San Diego Comic Con

by on July 10, 2013

As well as being the ultimate venue to nerd out over loads of cool comics and stuff, Xbox have announced via Major Nelson that the annual convention, which takes place at the San Diego Convention Centre from July 18 – 21, will house an Xbox booth running their new hardware, as well as forthcoming 360 titles.

Fans can expect to sample Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, and many more. I should imagine that there may be a bit of queuing involved.

This will be joined by a cool-sounding”Xbox Gaming Lounge” based at the nearby Grand Hyatt Hotel, which will be home to Dead Rising 3, Halo: Spartan Assault, and the soon-to-be-released Halo 4 DLC “Champions Bundle”.

Microsoft will also present two panels at the convention on July 18: the first at 11:45am titled ‘Inside the Looking Glass: Building Halo Worlds and Wonders, Past, Present and Future’, and the second at 5pm called ‘Bringing the Roman Empire to Life on Xbox One: The Creation of Ryse: Son of Rome’. Both are one hour panels and all times are US PST (Pacific, GMT-8).

This joins a growing list of events that Microsoft are using to pimp their new console, which is due to drop in November 2014.
