Konami has announced Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will be available at retail in the UK on September 20 – a full week before their major rivals go for a kick-about on store shelves. The game is also coming to PS3, 360 and PC in North America on September 24 and the PS3 version will be available on PSN, day and date.
Those who are interested in getting in on this year’s edition of the ever-popular series will be able to download a demo on their PS3 come September 11, or the following day on Xbox 360. This demo will include several teams to play as and a tutorial to walk players through the changes to controls.
At participating retailers, pre-orders of PES 2014 will gift buyers with codes for classic kits for many teams such as AC Milan and Man United. Digital pre-orders will also net people similar goodies.
With PES not making the jump to the next-generation this year, they have to come strong and hard at FIFA, so they don’t lose ground on EA, even before the next round has even started. Here’s hoping for a strong showing from Winning Eleven, this year.
