Rayman Legends Demo Coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 14th (That’s Today!)

Ubisoft will have made Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers pretty happy today, as they’re releasing a demo of Rayman Legends for them to play. The demo will contain three levels from across the game, as well as one of the invasion mode levels, which are alternate versions of a level, invaded by bad-guys from other worlds.

Specifically, the levels will be from the Teensies in Trouble and A Toad Story worlds, and you’ll also get to experience the “Black Betty” level, known as Castle Rock, that Wii U owners will have been talking about for quite some time now, as it’s amazing.

You can also get involved in the gallery of heroes area, which lets you swap out characters.

Along with this, Ubisoft have sent us a new musical map walkthrough video. Taken from the 20,000 Lums Under the Sea world and called “Gloo Gloo”, I’m going to actually suggest you don’t watch this one. It’s brilliant, don’t get me wrong, but the sheer joy etched across your face when you play it for the first time yourself is only going to be diminished by watching it. But it is excellent, it really is.

While you’re here, take a look at a few of our video previews for Legends, first up the “Top Ten New Features” video, then a five minute look at mini-game, “Kung Foot”. You can read Mick’s full preview impressions here. The game is out on August 30th in the UK, and September 3rd in the USA.
