Video Games Live Wants To Reach Level 3 With Your Help

by on August 14, 2013

Now in it’s eighth year; Video Games Live is a series of live concerts, showcasing live arrangements of some of the greatest pieces of video game music ever composed.

Headed by industry veteran, Tommy Tallarico, the live show has spawned television specials, a DVD and Blu-Ray as well as two album releases. A third album/DVD/Blu-Ray is planned, with the help of Kickstarter.

Titled Video Games Live: Level 3, the new CD and DVD/Blu-Ray hopes to feature music from Skyrim, Shadow of The Colossus, Street Fighter II, Metal Gear Solid, Assassin’s Creed, Portal, Tetris, Resident Evil, Metroid, Final Fantasy and tons more. All of this is done with a massive orchestra, choir and band.

I attended a concert in at the Royal Festival Hall in London back in 2008, and it’s one of the best video game concerts you’ll ever see – The two album releases so far have been fantastic, so hopefully this Kickstarter will reach it’s target.

Tommy Tallarico aims to raise $250,000 in the next 29 days – Check out the Kickstarter page to help out!
