Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut Gets Release Date

by on October 2, 2013

Today Eidos Montreal and Square Enix have announced that Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Directors Cut will launch on October 25th in Europe. The game is set to launch on Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game will also launch on Mac at a later date.

The Directors Cut edition features many upgrades over the standard game such as improved AI, 8 hours of developer commentary and perhaps the most welcome improvement, overhauled boss fights.

Along with the refinements there is a brand new second screen experience for the Wii U Gamepad, Microsoft Smart Glass and the PS Vita. The second screen integration is perhaps the biggest change to the game and one David Anfossi, Head of Eidos-Montreal, was quick to praise.

“Over the last 18 months the team has been working very hard on the development of the Director’s Cut,”

“With this edition we gave the team the envious task of pushing the boundaries in innovation and creativity to explore something we believe will become a big part of the future of the franchise, the second screen experience.”

A new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Directors Cut can be seen below, it does however feature the US release date.
