New Mass Effect Is In A “Playable” State, Tweets Bioware Employee
After the completion of the initial Mass Effect Trilogy, we’ve known that Bioware were hoping to continue the series into the new console generation. While nothing concrete has been said, we know that it’s unlikely to continue the adventures of Commander Shepard, and will instead focus on new characters and situations.
But it also seems that the next game is “Ambitious”, “Beautiful”, “Fresh” and above all, “Fun”. This is according to the GM of Bioware’s Edmonton & Montreal studios, Aaryn Flynn, via the following tweet (seen via CVG):

So, the question is – How far along is development, and can we expect to have a proper look at the game soon? Could we even see a 2014 release?
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to sneak a peek at this eagerly-awaited game.
