UK Chart: PS4 Becomes Fastest Selling UK Console Ever
Sony’s PlayStation 4 has become the fastest selling console in UK history, besting the previous record held by the PSP.
According to Chart-Track it outsold the 185,000 PSPs sold in 2005 as well as the Xbox One released last week and its predecessor the PS3.
In the actual chart PS4 exclusive Killzone: Shadow Fall debuted at 4, one spot higher than the highest charting Xbox One exclusive last week.
Also in disappointing news for the Wii U, Super Mario 3D World entered the chart in 14th place having been outsold by PS4 exclusive platformer Knack at 13.
Need For Speed: Rivals enters the chart at 8 thanks to a boost in PS4 sales (no doubt due to the lack of DriveClub) and Just Dance 2014 at ninth thanks to boosted sales on the Wii.
