Disney Infinity Sequel Will Be Superpowered
Disney Infinity is getting a sequel, and it’s going to be super-powered.
Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes sees Marvel heroes such as the Avengers, Spiderman and the Guardians of the Galaxy joining the fun.
There will be a starter pack, containing Iron Man, Black Widow and Thor, and an Asgard themed set has been teased.
The Marvel content will eventually add 20 new characters and 80 power discs, with a level cap of 20. Characters won’t necessarily control the same, each having their own powers, and there will be a series of vehicles to use.
The play sets will be bigger than the original, the Manhattan set is four times larger the Incredibles set for example.
Current figures and content for Disney Infinity will be compatible with the new line.
Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes. Will launch this Autumn on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and iOS devices. The base from the PlayStation 3 version will be compatible on the PlayStation 4, although Xbox One users will have to purchase a starter kit.
