Turtle Beach have announced that they will be releasing a range of gaming headsets based on the Star Wars franchise. This line of Star Wars headsets will be released later into the year and will include characters and artwork from the Star Wars galaxy, including the highly-anticipated animated TV series Star Wars Rebels.

The headsets will be customizable so that owners can get their personal headset to look exactly like they want it, with the swappable speaker plates that will be sold as accessories. The headset and initial speaker plate designs will be revealed at E3 in June. Bob Picunko Chief Marketing Officer at Turtle Beach has said:

“As a company in the gaming and entertainment space, we can’t help but be excited by the prospect of working on Star Wars headset designs in collaboration with Lucasfilm. We are looking forward to introducing state-of-the-art headsets that appeal to both casual and elite players who are fans of Star Wars.”

Turtle Beach are known, globally, for their fantastic headsets and the anticipation for a collaboration with the Star Wars franchise must be thrilling for fans all over the world. Imagine the possibilities – I can’t be the only one thinking of a Boba Fett headset. Or how about a feature that makes us sound like Darth Vader? A man can dream.
