New Assassin’s Creed Unity Trailers Shows Nvidia Graphics Optimisation

by on October 30, 2014

Assassin’s Creed Unity is only weeks away from its retail release now, and it seemed to be shaping up pretty nicely when we got some hands-on time with the title for our preview in early October. However today Ubisoft have released a new trailer which is bound to please the hardcore PC aficionados out there, who like to revel in the fact that PC versions of games are usually graphically superior.

The new trailer shows us many of the new optimisations that have been integrated into Assassin’s Creed Unity, in order to make the most of the powerful new Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics cards. Many new effects such as Temporal Anti-Aliasing and Percentage-Closer Soft Shadows make the PC release of the game the most graphically-impressive version. Of course, you will need a top of the line computer in order to make the most of these enhancements – so you have to decide whether your rig will be able to handle it or not?
