GTA V To Be 1080p On PS4 & Get San Andreas In HD For Cheap

by on October 27, 2014

There are two new Grand Theft Auto tidbits for fans today – both concerning both new and old GTA titles. Firstly, via an article in the Official PlayStation Magazine, it seems as if Grand Theft Auto V will run at 1080p on PlayStation 4. Being a PlayStation-only magazine, there is no mention of whether this performance will be duplicated on Xbox One or not. We will have to wait for an official word from Rockstar to see if this is confirmed for either console.

Secondly, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has received a tenth anniversary high definition 720p makeover on Xbox 360 – with a new Games on Demand version being launched, along with a full list of Achievements to work towards. The best news about this release however is the budget price tag – where in the UK it will cost £2.99, and in North America only $3.74. The download will be 2.05 GB of data, and is available to purchase from the Xbox Marketplace now. It is unknown if the low price is a timed offer, or the regular pricepoint – so it may be wise to purchase the title as soon as possible.
