Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Launch Dates Confirmed With New Trailer

by on November 14, 2014

Back in August, Activision made the decision to re-launch the beloved Sierra games development label. Sierra were one of the real powerhouses of video gaming throughout the nineteen eighties and into the nineteen nineties, producing such games as King’s Quest, Gabriel Knight and even publishing Half-Life. Their initial closure was a very sad day, so many long-time gamers were over-joyed to hear of a comeback.

The first fruit that will be produced from the Sierra label is the third game in the Geometry Wars series, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions. In this sequel, there will be 50 new single-player challenges, new three-dimensional arenas, boss battles, and the addition of both 8 player competitive online and 4 player local co-operative multiplayer modes.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will release first on November 25 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC, and will be released just one day later for Xbox One & Xbox 360 on November 26. The series was always previously an Xbox exclusive, so this is the first time that PlayStation gamers will be able to jump on board.
