New Inazuma Eleven games require you to teach the world about football

by on January 22, 2015

Inazuma Eleven returns to 3DS systems on March 27th with two new games where you’ll need to travel through time to restore the beauty of football to the world.

Seems that hero Arion Sherwind has woken up to find a world where football doesn’t exist. The people are now busying themsevles with music, gymnastics, basketball and calligraphy. What kind of fresh horror is this?

As a result Sherwind will travel through time to restore football back to the world (…yeah, me neither).

The Fighting Spirit system will return, but now players will be able to armourfy the spirits and as a result stats and abilities will become more powerful.

New to the games however will be the Miximax system where players can merge their auras to other players to improve skills and provide stat boosts in matches.

The two games are Inazuma Eleven Go: Wildfire and Inazuma Eleven Go: Thunderflash. Each will have story events, items, characters and cutscenes that the other game will not have.

I wonder who ‘pitched’ this idea?
