by on March 24, 2015

Minecraft will be used at Fire Tech Camp this Easter to teach kids about electronics and design.

Fire Tech Camp is a tech camp provider for children and teens in the UK, and is holding a series of workshops over the Easter period at Imperial College, London. The two workshops, aimed at ages nine to 17, are described: “The Minecraft Redstone workshop allows kids to learn about concepts in electronics and design, while immersed in the fun and creative world of Minecraft. The one day World Building with Minecraft course pushes the creative limits of Minecraft and lets kids build their own worlds from scratch using a range of cross-platform tools.

Other courses include Java coding, video game and mobile app design.

The World Building with Minecraft will run on April 7 and 9, while Minecraft Redstone will be held April 8 and 10. Easter courses will run from March 30 to April 17 and prices start from £100 for a one-day workshop. The Minecraft courses will also be run in Brighton April 1 and 2.
