Mewtwo Amiibo Releasing in October, Lucas and Ryu On The Way

Nintendo have announced that a Mewtwo Amiibo will be released in the UK on October 23rd, following its premiere at Gamescom.

The Japanese publishing giant posted a picture of the Amiibo followed by the release date on their official Twitter feed:

Nintendo have also confirmed that Amiibos for Smash Bros. DLC characters Lucas and Ryu are also in the works, following their inclusion into the game in June. Amiibos will also be produced for upcoming characters who will be added in following the results of the fan vote which Nintendo announced during their Direct on April 1.

The news comes after Nintendo premiered their new Amiibo card line featuring characters from the Animal Crossing series. The cards are set to come in packs of 3, with 100 to collect.
