Xur’s First Taken King Catalogue is Live
The Taken King launched on Tuesday, and now Friday is here and Xur’s made his first appearance.
There are no guaranteed exotic weapons from him any more. Instead he’ll sell a legacy weapon engram, which will grant Year 1 versions of exotic weapons.
Armour exotics and the exotic armour engram will be year two versions of existing pieces, or brand new year two items.
In addition to this, Xur will sell a new item, called the Three of Coins. These will grant a boost to your chances of obtaining an exotic engram from bosses that you kill. If one fails then the next one will grant an even higher chance, due to their cumulative effect.
So, without further ado, here’s what he has for you:
Titan:
An Insurmountable Skullfort – Helm – 13 Strange Coins
Hunter:
Young Ahamkara’s Spine – Gauntlets – 13 Strange Coins
Warlock:
The Impossible Machines – Gauntlets – 13 Strange Coins
Exotic Engram:
Helm
Three of Coins – 7 Strange Coins
