by on December 11, 2015

MCV have reported that Multiplay’s Insomnia Gaming Festival will be making it’s way across the borders to visit Scotland and Ireland next year, having already shifted from Coventry to Birmingham this year.

Insomnia Scotland will take place between April 29 to May 1 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, managing a capacity of 14,000 making it Scotland’s largest gaming event. Insomnia Ireland will take place between June 10 and June 12t at the Killarney Convention Centre, and will hold 5,000 consumers.

The shows will feature similar content to what they have previously: eSports madness, YouTuber appearances as well as playable demos of upcoming AAA and indie titles. “We’re excited to unveil our international plans, and these Scottish and Irish festivals are just the start of our commitment to Insomnia fans the world over,” said Craig Fletcher, founder and CEO of organiser Multiplay. “With the support of a vibrant community from the US and throughout Europe, we’ll continue to grow our festivals to reach as many of our incredible fans in the future.”

More details about the events will be announced in due course, and tickets will become available via Insomnia‘s website early next year.
