Red Dead Redemption comes to Xbox One Backward Compatibility on Friday

by on July 5, 2016

Rockstar Games just announced that Red Dead Redemption would be added to Microsoft’s Xbox One Backward Compatibility program on Friday.

Red Dead Redemption was leaked to be a part of the program a while ago when someone spotted another Xbox gamer playing it on Xbox One and people even managed getting it to work through a loophole. That got fixed and now it officially will be playable on Xbox One from Friday. This includes Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare, and Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition. It will also be available for purchase from the Xbox One from Friday July 8.

Red Dead Redemption is available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. From Friday, it will be available on Xbox One as well.
