by on November 10, 2016

Final Fantasy XV’s director, Hajime Tabata, has shared some information about the patch, coming in December, that adds PS4 Pro support to the epic RPG.

In today’s Active Time Report, a video series from Square Enix about Final Fantasy XV, Tabata announced that the game is currently being tuned to channel additional power into the framerate, ensuring a solid 60fps when playing in Full-HD and that the December update will primarily serve to roll this out to players. He also states that currently Final Fantasy XV runs between 40 and 50 fps and that in it’s upscaled 4K mode it will only manage around 30fps.

Final Fantasy XV is set to release on November 29 for Xbox One and PS4.

Thanks, Siliconera.
