With the Justice League movie already gaining a lot of attention, its no surprise that people are looking for the best Batman-themed online games out there. After all, have you seen the trailer? It looks great; so let’s keep our fingers crossed. Today, we thought we’d take a look at the best the online world has to offer when it comes to The Dark Knight.

Batman & The Joker Jewels

Towards the end of last year, iGaming developer Playtech revealed and launched its brand new collection of slots based on the iconic 1960s Batman television series. Of the six new games, Batman & The Joker Jewels is perhaps the most exciting – as who wouldn’t be excited about our Dark Knight battling his archenemy on such an unusual platform?
The slot features the jazzy music you may remember from the show, as well as pictures of your favourite characters including Adam West himself. As for reels, there are a total of five with 25 paylines packed with symbols you are sure to remember and bonus features where you could bag free spins and multipliers. If you play the slot, which is available at bgo online casino you’ll notice there are a whopping four progressive jackpot prizes alongside a potentially infinite amount of bonus games. This online casino operator also hosts the other five games so you can play them yourself to decide which of the new releases you prefer.
If you’d like to see what else is out there in terms of Batman slots, you may want to also try The Dark Knight slot by Microgaming. With a progressive jackpot and five reels, this slot based on the 2008 blockbuster features symbols of Christian Bale and Heath Ledger in their iconic costumes that will trigger cinematic spins with clips from the original movie when combined correctly. This slot is available at a variety of online casino operators including Casino Land and Slots Geek.
DC Universe Online

Now, how could we possibly talk about Batman-based online games without mentioning the massive multiplayer title DC Universe Online? Although you can’t exactly play as Batman, the Dark Knight plays a large role throughout the game’s story so can truly immerse yourself in his world. You can also get him as a mentor once you reach level 30.
The story goes that supervillain Braniac has given some average civilians superpowers, and that includes you. Upon opening the game you will be asked to customize your character, which means you get to choice your costume, super powers and most importantly whether you are a hero or a villain. From that point forward you must accomplish quests and play with hundreds of other players that can be found gallivanting around the online world.
There is a pre-made character template based on Batman, but you will usually interact with him as a separate entity, an iconic hero often found all over Gotham City. Once you unlock level 5 you’ll be able to play as Batman for the Legends PVP and Legends PvE, plus you can become his apprentice if you choose Tech Hero during character creation. However, if you’re a villain that follows The Joker you’ll get to fight Batman once you reach level 15. Either way, there are a lot of interactions to be had with Batman during DC Online Universe.
So, while Justice League may not be coming out until November later this year, playing these games whether you opt for Batman at bgo or The Dark Knight the time is sure to fly by.
