Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 shipments for Nintendo Switch cross 400k

by on November 8, 2017

Bandai Namco Entertainment just announced details for the shipments and sales for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 across all platforms.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 originally launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Read our review of the original here. The Switch port launched in late September and you can read my review of it here. It launched in Japan early in September and in North America and Europe on September 22. Bandai Namco announced that it shipped 300k worldwide by September 30. The latest shipped figure is 400k for the Nintendo Switch release. While this is not a sold through figure it is good to know the release is doing well for a late port. For reference, the game has shipped 3.3 million across all platforms as now. The Steam release is sitting at around 330k sold as per SteamSpy with a margin of error.

Hopefully this bodes well for DRAGON BALL FighterZ on the Switch.

Thanks, Takashi Mochizuki.
