Nintendo says there are currently no plans for a traditional Virtual Console on Switch

The Nintendo Switch Online service saw some more details revealed earlier today.

The 20 NES games with online being a part of it at launch made people question what would happen to the virtual console service that has been great on Nintendo’s platforms so far. Jason Schreier from Kotaku got a response from Nintendo about it and you can read it below:

“There are currently no plans to bring classic games together under the Virtual Console banner as has been done on other Nintendo systems”
