Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Pro Controller shown off in new video, bundle announced for North America

Nintendo have announced a launch bundle to coincide with the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch. This special edition will feature both a steelbook case with the fiery Smash Bros. logo on the front, as well as a black and white Switch Pro controller decorated with a more traditional version of the logo.

Currently these are only available in the US, and can be purchased as an overall bundle for around $140. The limited edition Pro controller can also be bought separately setting you back around $75.

And whilst there are currently no official plans to release this special edition Pro Controller in Europe, Nintendo is including the steelbook for free if you buy it direct from them on the Nintendo UK Store.

Also, there is a different bundle planned to launch in Europe, with the game itself, plus a Smash-branded GameCube controller instead, as well as a USB adapter. The adapter allows up to four GameCube controllers to be connected to your Nintendo Switch, for more traditional local multiplayer action. This bundle is likely to retail in the UK for about £90.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on Nintendo Switch worldwide on 7th December 2018.
