EA has today confirmed that it’s subscription service EA Access will be coming to PS4 in July. With the suggested retail price of either £3.99/$4.99 per month, or £19.99/$29.99 for an annual subscription, it will see PS4 owners able to, well, access EA Access, just like you can Xbox One and PC via Origin.
Matt Bilbey, Executive VP of Strategic Growth for EA had this to say on the announcement:
As we continue to invest in digital and subscription services, bringing our games to even more people across both consoles is an exciting opportunity for everyone. Our goal is to give players more choice to try and play our games wherever and however they choose and we’re happy to bring the service to PlayStation 4.
As with EA Access on other platforms, the subscription will see you earn 10% discount on titles, expansions, and in-game items as well as being able to play the latest EA games including those from the FIFA, Battlefield and NFL franchises.
